COVID-19 (Novel Corona Virus) Update 3/16/2020
As a Community Center, we are first and foremost committed to the health and well-being of our community, clients, volunteers, and staff.
The Bay Area is among the U.S. region's with the highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
After careful consideration and receiving information provided by the CDC, World Health Organization, & state and local health department officials, we have made the decision to suspend all Center support groups through the end of March.
We will also be implementing an abbreviated schedule for our staff and volunteers asap, until we are confident that the Center is safe from COVID-19. Our decision is being made out of an abundance of caution for the entire community.
This is a constantly evolving situation and the Center is working in collaboration with our community partners and public health officials, to provide reliable COVID-19 screening and treatment information, and identify ways to effectively support our LGBTQ+ community and the community at large during this pandemic.
