The Center’s Elder Services promotes a positive and healthy quality of life for elder LGBTQ+ individuals 55+ by ensuring they continue to be supported, respected, and connected as they advance in age. We collaborate with existing agencies working with LGBTQ seniors to connect people to needed resources and work to identify gaps in services so that we can find ways to fill those gaps.
We host support groups and activities designed to help keep LGBTQ elders egaged with other elders and younger members of our community.
The Center currently host the following programs and activities for seniors:

Older & Out - A weekly Wednesday therepeutic support group for elders 55+ presented by the Pacific Center

Lavender Seniors - Comprehensive support for LGBTQ Elders

Lavender Seniors Lunch Bunch at North Oakland Senior Center.

Social Seniors - A monthly drop-in for LGBTQ elders to socialize, see films, play games, eat food, and participate in workshops
