Thanksgiving Day @ The Center
You are invited to join center staff, volunteers and families, at our 3rd annual FREE Thanksgiving Day Dinner catered by the phenomenal chefs at Feeding Opportunities for Oakland Dependent (F.O.O.D) & Hunger Intervention Program Helping Other People HIPHOP. We will be open on Thanksgiving day, Thursday, November 28th, to our LGBTQ+ family and friends, who may not have friends in town or who don't have a family of their own or have families who are far away or those who just want to be with our LGBTQ+ family for the holiday. The Center will be open from 1pm until 9:00pm and offer two rooms and other spaces for socializing and activities, to include movies and games, along with free food and refreshments. We are all one big Oakland family here! Let’s celebrate as one with a spirit of unity, love and compassion.
We thank Sprouts Farmers Market & Alameda Natural Grocery, for their generous support of this year's celebration.
