Center Vision & Services:
LGBTQ Senior, Family and Adult Services

Help us explore how our organization can serve LGBTQ  older adults and families in our community.  We are dedicated to promoting a positive and healthy quality of life for families and elder LGBTQ individuals in Oakland by ensuring they continue to be supported, respected, and connected to our broader community.

Center Vision & Services:
Transgender Support Services

The Center's Transgender Support Services will provide programing to educate, empower and employ our transgender community and family members. Help us create this program by joining our Transgender Support Services Planning Committee.

Gay and bisexual men accounted for 66% (25,748) of all HIV diagnoses and 82% of HIV diagnoses among males. Transgender individuals are also at high risk for HIV/Infection.

The Centers For Disease Control & Prevention is projecting that 1 and 2 African American/Black gay and bisexual men, and 1 and 4 Latino gay and bisexual men will become infected with HIV in their lifetime if current HIV infection trends continue. To help to stop the spread of HIV in Oakland, we will launch our new Wellness Services program to provide HIV prevention services to include HIV testing for LGBTQ community members who have the highest risk for contracting HIV. Our team will also help link HIV positive and negative people to care and treatment services. No, you don't have to have have to be HIV+ to access our wellness services.
