Oakland finally has its very own LGBTQ+ Community Center! Established in 2017, the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center is a Non-Profit, 501(c)(3), tax exempt organization, located at 3207 Lakeshore Ave., in the beautiful Lake Merritt district. We welcome you to come in, check out our service offerings and get involved—this is YOUR Center! The Oakland LGBTQ Community Center's model of service delivery is "Wellness First" and includes social, educational, and holistic-health related programs, services and activities.

Our normal hours of operation are
Monday-Friday,
12:00pm - 6:00pm
(later for some spt groups)
We are open some Saturdays for group activities and medical services. Closed Sundays except for special events. For all group activities and meetings, please see our calendar.

LGBTQ Community Connections

The Oakland LGBTQ Center is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of our community members. We provide case management, information and referral services, along with a variety of health and wellness related workshops, forums, peer support groups and community strengthening activities. You are invited to become a volunteer peer support group facilitator, workshop presenter, outreach worker, or apply for a volunteer opportunity that fits your interest. Click here to volunteer!

WELLNESS SUPPORT & RESOURCES
LGBTQ Youth Services

The Center is committed to supporting our youth by providing information and referral services, support groups, leadership development, conflict resolution workshops, advanced educational opportunities, job training resources, employment opportunities and referrals, food pantry and nutrition information, transportation assistance and emergency housing services. HIV PREVENTION & WELLNESS SUPPORT
Health & Wellness Services

Our Glenn Burke Wellness Clinic offers sexual health testing & treatment to include HIV/STI/STD, PEP/PrEP, HRT, referrals to gender care, tele-health, benefits enrollment, linkages to primary medical care services and wellness care management support. Click here to schedule an appointment or call

We are dedicated to promoting a positive and healthy quality of life for families and elder LGBTQ individuals in Oakland and Alameda County, by ensuring they continue to be supported, respected, and connected to our broader community. Latino Men's Group

Power X is a Latino/Latinx Affinity group designed to meet the wellness needs of men/trans men around the bay area.
